As an independent musician I feel very lucky to have your support, in ways I never imagined. Moreover, I’ve found a place I can hold my grief and express it at the same time.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how to honor those dear to me, the people who have given me what I continue to work with and I feel like today is that day I am met with the same answer to all my questions about it, that my commitment is to feel even when it hurts because that is simply my task as a human being first and a musician last by way of song and now film.
I may not connect to you in the most traditional ways, but I promise that I will make this journey interesting enough to merit a listen.
